I’ve been going to San Ramon Valley Import for over 30 years and refer many to go there if they are looking for trustworthy work and advice for their cars! Yesterday, I took my Honda Pilot in for a scheduled service maintenance and walked out after waiting only 30 minutes for a complete ‘check up!’ The staff that works there are all great and after this many years, they are all family. If I EVER have a question or a problem with any car, I call the guys there and get the help I need! You can’t go wrong! P.S. if you’re looking to purchase a car and ready to buy, I recommend you having it looked at before you buy the car to ensure what you are getting and what you’re paying for! We've been with VIP since about 1983 and seen the shop ownership transition four times over the last 40 years, from founder Ian Cook, to his son Chris to new buyer Sun (whom we worked with in Castro Valley before VIP), then finally to Rob who has been with the shop since day#1. We've gone from German cars to Swedish cars to now a Toyota and Lexus. They haven't just "fixed" our cars, they've given us good wise advice on what cars to buy, how to minimize maintenance costs, and when to trade them in; in other words not just fixing them but offering good advice on optimizing your transportation investment. We drive from Hayward and simply wouldn't take our cars elsewhere. Over 145 pages of very positive reviews seem to agree.
