Moved to San Ramon a couple of months and found SR Import Center online. These guys charged me fair price, and told me what was wrong with my car, what needed immediate attention and what could wait. Honest mechanics are hard to find, once you find one you'll keep coming back. I'll be back for all future repairs. Honest, professional and friendly. Thanks guys.

I brought my 2013 Prius in after the check hybrid system light came on. I was called after a diagnostic check was performed, and told I needed to replace the inverter. (very expensive). They took the time to check Toyota's recall list and actually found the part I needed was on the list. AND they called Toyota Walnut Creek and got me an appointment that day! Saved me a bundle of $$$! Color me impressed. Todd. San Ramon

I would recommend this very honest business. They saved me a bunch of money: I went in thinking I had some problems with my alternator. but it turns out it was something else that I already fixed myself. Since I was already there, I decided to take care of some overdue routine maintenance and some bigger repairs (bad bushings) that I've been putting off.

Just Terrible ! Was charged $85 for a Brake inspection that wasn't disclosed at time of appointment scheduling only to learn after that other shops do it for free. When I asked about it I was told "Oh well, to bad" ! Felling ripped off. Lots of auto shops in San Ramon... I would try one of the others.

Sorry you were disappointed in the process Ted. We provided you with a written estimate for the cost of the brake inspection you when you dropped off your car - which you signed. That authorized the work and the cost. We cannot help that you found a supposedly free alternative after that time and we don't honor competitor coupons. For your future information, estimates provided over the phone are just that - and while we often provide verbal estimates over the phone when requested, customers should be aware that those estimates are not binding until written and signed by the customer. And we're required by law to get your authorization before doing any work.

I was very pleased with the quality of service, and expertise the mechanics at Valley Import Center showed my car. I had a cracked oil pan, and needed it to be replaced. The quote they gave was very reasonable, and the time estimate to fix it was accurate which was helpful for a mom of 2 to plan her day! I really appreciated the honesty and attention to detail they gave. I will definitely return for car maintenance.
