Rob and his team are awesome. You need to go see them if you have any automotive needs. Prices are more than fair and service is unmatched in this day and age. I was amazed at the quality and level of service. If you go anywhere else its your fault. :-)

I was surprised to find out they did Smog checks. Everything was done in 10 minutes. I highly recommend them!

I have been taking my cars to Valley Import " Rob " for over 9 years, starting with my 1966 corvettes then my daily driver, then major front-end work on my 1978 corvette, then I thought I would throw a curveball at Rob with a 1929 ford roadster pick up. Well at this point I was convinced Robs knowledge, honesty and high level of workmanship exceeded my expectations. Note: Ethan is chip off the old block!

Brought my Ram in for an intermittent problem with starting truck using key FOB, unfortunately the system was working at the time they tried to diagnosed the problem and Valley Imports was unable to find any issues and everything checked out okay. This was understandable since it was intermittent and sometimes would go months without any malfunctions. The good news is that eventhough they spent time diagnosing the problem they did not charge me for their time. I find this as an example of integrity and great customer service.

Again, you did everything as promised. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks for all the good work you do.

I’ve been wrenching on cars since my high school days when I worked in gas stations (‘74-‘77). My buddies and I got good at pulling engines and transmissions to constantly increase their performance. Since then I’ve had to take my 1969 Shelby GT500 (owned since 1978) into several shops for expertise above my shade tree mechanic skills. I’ve had some good experiences with specialty shops but also some very bad ones. I’ve also learned that we must pay a fair amount for this expertise. San Ramon Valley Import Center came very highly recommended to me by a high performance parts manufacturer. I waited patiently for my turn to get to Rob, the owner. In my opinion, Rob is the best “surgeon” I’ve ever experienced in over 50 years of hot rodding. After the suspension work was completed by Rob, I got to drive my car home (yesterday July 4th). I must share with you as an SCCA judge and SEMA attendee that my Shelby drove better than showroom new. I’ve owned the car for nearly 50 years and could not believe how it drives and runs. This fellow and his team are few and far between. I cannot recommend them more highly. If you are looking for the lowest price for a repair then look elsewhere. If you’re looking for surgical expertise and vast knowledge gained from his personal race track testing experience, then contact this company. You won’t be disappointed.
